Northcroft Fabrics Provides Luxury On Board Your Superyacht
Northcroft Fabrics, with its comprehensive range of hard wearing, fire retardant, yet luxurious fabrics, is an excellent choice for superyachts undergoing a refit, where elegance and durability are of equal importance.
A number of the company’s fabrics, including classic velvets and stunning damasks and silks, can be used to create beautiful superyacht interiors; the newest addition to the company’s collection is one such fabric. Oxford is an opulent yet durable wool cashmere velvet, suitable for both upholstery and curtains and comes in a choice of eight beautiful colours; Cream, Fawn, Burgundy, Aubergine, Eggshell Blue, Sage, Grey and Black. Bespoke colours can be made for a minimum order of 80 metres. It has a 140cm width and retails at £220 per metre.
Henley is a modacrylic velvet perfect for superyacht interiors. It is hard-wearing and inherently fire retardant, yet adds a touch of luxury, and is available in a number of stylish colours to complement new and existing colour schemes and interiors. It can be used on both upholstery and curtains and being synthetic, is ideal to withstand the salt waters of the oceans.
Deco is perfect for adding a modern feel. The linen gaufrage velvet has an art deco design which is produced using an embossing roller that dates back to the art deco period. The 100 per cent linen pile velvet is hard-wearing, can also be used for full length curtains and is available in six classic colours.
Company Director John Kitching, said: “Northcroft Fabrics has supplied fabrics to the marine market for years. We have a range of fabrics to suit superyacht interiors which can be used to create timeless living spaces; interior designers can speak to us about particular client needs and in special cases, bespoke designs can also be created, so superyachts can look and feel exactly how individual requirements dictate.”
